Rev. Floyd W. Gregory, Jr. M. DIV.
The Rev. Floyd W. Gregory, Jr. M.DIV., is a native of High Point N.C. He is a graduate of High Point Central High School and continued his undergraduate education at A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina where he was awarded a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education. The Rev. Floyd W. Gregory Jr. continued and completed his graduate studies at the Richmond, Virginia Seminary receiving a Master of Divinity degree in May of 2000.
His spiritual life started in his home church, Temple Memorial Baptist Church, High Point, NC, under the leadership of the Rev Dr. Leonard L. Macon. He and his wife Shirley moved to Roanoke VA in 1989 and joined Pilgrim Baptist Church. Under the direction and leadership of the Rev. Dr Dwight O. Steele Sr., his faith in God and his calling to preach the Gospel became apparent. He was licensed in 1997 and has had the privilege to Pastor the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA for seven years.
Rev. Gregory is a graduate of the Minority Leadership Class sponsored by the United Way of Roanoke and has served on the Board of Directors of Family Services. He was chosen to assist in leading Advance Auto Parts initial efforts for supporting and sponsoring the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation here in the Roanoke Valley.
Rev. Gregory is married to Regina E. Gregory who is originally from Newark, New Jersey and previously from Danville, VA. This union have blessed them together with 5 sons and 2 daughters. Together they blessed with 6 granddaughters and 5 grandsons.
